Mike_scotland Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Hello everyone, Does anyone know the rough m2 rate for the "outer skin" breeze blocks on a timberframe house? I'm wanting to go down a timberframe house route with a outer skin of breeze block then rendered. Thanks in advance. Mike

Average house has about 200sqm of external facing so you’re at £4,500 to £6,200 or thereabouts. Not that bad in the big scheme of things. 1

scottishjohn Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 If you going to render why blockwork on outside of your TF house to then cover ? like exterior insulation then mesh and render onto that --plenty of other systems all the load for the house is going through the TF --not exterior skin
