  1. ? No chance ! Let the man that judges a man on his profile picture be a damned man ! ?????
  2. True !
  3. Of course ! i guess all I need to do then is convince the judge of the ambiguity. So it could go either way . If he sees its open to interpretation then I would hope he would award me something.
  4. Ok ok ok ! Inner voice shouts at me ! The only 2 options that give a plank effect and are suitable for driveways are Marshalls metro range and vecta by bradstone ...
  5. Mediation never happened. The supplier never returned their call apparently. So ! I’ve been told a judge decides if a mediation date is set again or go straight to court . Me thinks on the basis that drawings and emails need to be read ( mediation don’t seem to do this ) - then it will be a court case - once I pay the extra fee of course !
  6. But not going to park on them !
  7. 80mm deep . 800 x 200mm !!! They are certainly planks - be fun laying them!!!
  8. She likes these https://simplypaving.com/stoneflair-by-bradstone-stonemaster-paving-dark-grey-washed-800-x-200-32-per-pack.html which even says ‘ not suitable for driveways ‘ . The problem is the long slim plank style risks cracking even on a concrete bed so I’ve been told ; if driven on . So ! It will be astetics over functionality I think . High level meeting with the boss later ...... wish I could get demoted !
  9. Lol ! From my bosses perspective this is better !!!!
  10. Yeah . I did look into resin . Reality is nothing will ever park on the driveway ; so though it IS a driveway it will be used like a patio ....
  11. Oh ! I know the answer to that question without asking .... BOTH !
  12. Lol I might struggle with 800kg a slab !! ?
  13. But you are going against the bosses wishes !!!!
  14. I suppose that’s possible ...
  15. Yeah driveway . They’ll never cut as neat as machined ones . Also I’ve got 50 sq metres to do .....
  16. Problem is the boss wants same size , plank style and a mix of colours ....
  17. Here ! ? https://www.pavingsuperstore.co.uk/stonemarket-paving-sawn-and-sandblasted-sandstone-stonespar-garma-paving-slabs.html
  18. I’ve been told yes - but am less sure ....
  19. I could But its rainwater for harvesting I’m trying to collect so don’t really want any surface water . I do have a micro channel drain (32mm wide) that I am going to run across the front for surface water . So downpipe from roof for harvesting . Nano for surface in front house . Also have a shallow drainage channel for front of plot / driveway . Trying my best to avoid any sitting water !!
  20. Just found that poly pipe do an 82mm !
  21. Ok ! It would seem a below ground 68mm drainpipe doesn’t exist ; only 110 or above . Bit reluctant to use down pipe drain horizontally in concrete . Drainpipes are quite solid compared to rather brittle down pipes .....
  22. Why is everything so expensive! Anyway considering this ( wallet still crying at the thought ) Do these need to be sealed ? Also it’s suggested that they are grouted with flowtec ( or something like that ) . Never found any of these patio / driveway grouts to work - always end up lifting and cracking . Presume I could just use kiln dried sand as normal . Sandstone pavers ( be quiet wallet !!! ) will be bedded on concrete. ta
  23. Unique custom product ! Open to offers !! ?
  24. Sure something like this must exist ! Saved my back at the expense of a broom !
