  1. Or this ??? I want to toggle 240v on each relay https://hobbycomponents.com/lora/1190-longreach-lora-4-channel-digital-tx
  2. Hmmmmmm to find a relay resorts to AliExpress - always a flip a coin and hope ; this maybe ? Are all Lora devices compatible with all hubs ??
  3. I was reading about someone that bought a Lora based sensor and didn’t know they needed the hub . Been working by magic apparently for years ; not on their WiFi or Bluetooth or anything else . Recently found out it had connected to a Lora hub 5 streets away 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  4. Lora !!!!!! Yolink New toys ordered ! 1/4 Mile range …. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🤔
  5. Cooooorrrrr - that’s at least a few days work !
  6. Yeah ; it gets used rarely in winter . But I ordered anyway ( peace of mind ) Then it’s also another “ job “ to fix it ( 10 second jobs can turn into half a day for sure ! )
  7. I have an outdoor tap also so should do the same !
  8. I was thinking this also . But then I drank some 🍷and thought (expletive deleted) it
  9. Interfaces to home assistant ? What does it generate on activation ??? Concept sounds good …. reviews seem not good . A battery I change once a year or less is fine . My problem is WiFi and zigbee at this point is poor / shite
  10. I’ve got an ip camera that can see it - too many false triggers as I walk past it to enter my abode
  11. Still got to run 20m of cable . I’m a lazy (expletive deleted) ; that’s all under my decking
  12. Bast’s - I knew it would be like that
  13. Not for sale to Germany apparently… why ? Not a musk nazi device is it ? 😆
  14. Needs to be a (expletive deleted)ing big parcel to move 10kg of meat
  15. To avoid the build I create a new ‘fun’ project …. The post box is a standalone unit about 6m from the house . Want to detect when it’s opened presumably by postie to delivery parcel . It does have a letter slot - but I could block that up . First thought was a Shelly / zigbee battery door sensor . Works sometimes . Range is the issue … Also no mains power at the postbox . So ! , maybe a Shelly relay mains powered but it would need mains which is around 20m away and then long cable to some reed sensor type magnetic switch in the postbox . Seems like a lot of work to work out if a letters been posted ! A good / bad plan ? ; other suggestions??
  16. I did think of a pipe heater but thought it was overkill for ( as you say ) maybe a few times a year . I’ll just pour hot water over the casing if I need too - possibly next winter 😊
  17. Are you suggesting just cutting the small non insulated end of the white pipe off ? I.e easiest option ?
  18. Not a problem for me . The pipe there is over half a meter above ‘my’ ground . As an underground dwelling there’s a massive void down the entire side of the building . So drainage a non issue . TBH I like it visible . I did consider taking it further vertically . This way I can see water coming out or potentially freezing .
  19. What’s the problem? , is the door not level ?
  20. Yes , and he did the pipework
  21. Don’t like Tuya sending all my data to the Chinese new world order . Tried the msr2 . Was pretty good - but not good enough for me !
  22. Well my friend ! You can just see it in one of the earlier photos that the trunking is straight vertically and horizontally but the actual overflow pipe is slightly on an angle vertically ; meaning that final horizontal part of the pipe has a fall ….
  23. Yes . Together we will conquer check-a-trade
  24. I know
