Hmmmm - called around a few plumbing online retailers - doesn’t apparently seem possible !! . Problem seems to be the rubber flange on the push fit stops the weld fit going in ( even the weld fit end with no flange )
-
Ah bum ! @Jeremy Harris you are of course correct ! . Will do it properly with a coupler . Better now than problem later !
-
Weld coupler fits over push fit pipe fine . But I can’t weld these 2 guys together can I ???? Push fit coupler doesn’t go over weld pipe . Both have a rubber flange which seems to stop them pairing up ...
-
That’s going to be a right PITA to dig out ; so I can lift the pipe high enough so I can get a coupler over it !
-
Almost there ! So the internal black pipe is weld stuff . Man hole connection is push fit - how do I marry these 2 up ? Also during my excavation I inadvertently stuck the pick axe through the pipe ? A cut section of curved pipe would act as a nice plaster over the hole . Assume this stuff isn’t weld friendly so CT1 it in place ??

Hmmm I wonder if there’s a nice cat5 or wifi version ... starts googling ... ?
-
So a cable straight through the wall is ok ? I think it looks neater than a plate in the bathroom
-
Yep - I’ve googled the correct thing now ! Thanks @Jeremy Harris ; I am now looking at the right thing ! ??
-
Ahhhhh ! Are all non switched FCU’s like that ?
-
-
But a FCU has a switch ; assume that’s not allowed in a bathroom ??? - or have I got it wrong ?
-
When I look at these in a show room admittedly not wired in to use - but the wiring seems to go straight into the wall . My electrician has asked for a flex outlet plate . Is this the standard way to have these wired ? . Would be nice to have no visible cable if possible....

Will do a mock up to test alignment!

Wall hung vanity . In theory the vanity unit hides the waste .
-
Awesome ! .It is a wall mounted vanity unit the sink sits on . As I have to tile walls first was worried where I place the waste in the wall . This certainly reduces the error margin
-
My bathroom sink waste will come up through the stud wall . The sink is wall mounted I.e you can’t see the waste . How do I position the waste in the stud wall ? . I could be too high or maybe too low to join exactly to the sink trap . Do some traps have adjustments to raise / lower ?? Hope my questions clear ! ?

Yes ! I have genius hub installed in 3 HMO’s works well . Battery failure being the most annoying thing and thick tenants not understanding it ...
-
The lintels are hard to drill so F off ! ?
-
No I don’t know what you mean ( even though all the timber is up )
-
Awkward work on your own ! First section in and glued . Toilet joint relatively near hole for toilet waste Forgot how nice the glue smells !!
-
Sparky has been . I allowed him a whole day to install this . He took his time and made a super neat job ! . 2 CU’s and my Din box ?

Yes - I was going to add a bracket every metre . 100mm fall across 6metres it will be ?
-
-
Well ! After much faffing ! Measuring off the floor blocks above ; difference between each end is around 20mm . Doesn’t look like much of a fall !!! Should I make it steeper ? Appreciate from the photo you can’t tell ??
-
Preliminary test of theory ? Drain through to outside ; got to adjust the clamp length and add a few more . Aiming for 10mm fall per metre ...
