  1. You sure that's ok? - regs wise I mean?. I can't find regs about the pipe size to the AAV
  2. Yes it's end of the stack. The main drain is shared with just one other property that does have a stench pipe. I'm not going to have a stench pipe - worst case I'll add an external one later. Does the pipe coming off my 110m smile HAVE to be 110mm to the AAV?? - PITA!
  3. Ok ! Well my soil pipe ceiling suspended will naturally have a fall to outside . So at the other end I.e ‘uphill’ I’ll install it . Pita because I didn’t allow for a vertical 110mm pipe in the stud ?
  4. I’m going to the loft and running it horizontal just to get it near the loft access hatch . Don’t fancy crawling through tight spaces if there’s an issue ? Why do you have multiple AAV’s ? I was just planning on installing one . Thinking now - that HAS to be at the end of the soil run , yes ? I.e past all other connections
  5. Just checking ! 1) Has to higher than highest cistern ? 2) 110mm AAV pipe - preferable ? 3) Can tee off the main drain anywhere ? Doesn’t have to be at the end of cisterns ? Just anywhere ? 4) Must run vertical into loft - can then can go horizontal; must end vertical though ? I’m 99% that’s all ok ... but post just in case ...
  6. I see ! Ok ! I’ll do 32 and 40 off sinks / baths - once through my beam and block swap to 50mm before boss strap into 110mm
  7. I know ! I give up correcting spell check . Every time I try to type ring or sing etc . It’s first choice is “f’ing” - guess it’s learnt too much !!
  8. Got some 32mm pipe spare now then ? Everything in 50mm it will be !
  9. Phone wise ( when I’m above ground ) 3 or 4 - not an issue . This modem though !! You can 4 bars and get a relatively slow speed or 3 bars and it’s actually faster . I think which host it picks is critical.
  10. Ok ! the problem with speed net is it chooses an ‘optimal’ host it would seem at random ! So in the same location I can get anything between 2mb and 22mb - depending on host !!! . Assume there’s some configuration on the router that allows you to choose hosts ....
  11. On site . Ariel outside at around head height . Download 20mb / upload 8mb Not too bad . Will now try Ariel at back of build
  12. Isn’t an unknown unknown therefore a known ? ??
  13. Space cut for mega mirror !
  14. Sink support ( not fixed yet ! ) in place . Now have to cut out above that for recessed mirror ...
  15. Was going to run everything individually into the 110mm - so no ‘pipe sharing ‘ Why anti siphon trap ? Why just on bath ? Assume I could fit this in the baths waste in the ceiling - rather than under the bath ?
  16. I assume once a toilet waste gets through my beam and block I then want to get it into 110mm ASAP - joining my internal ceiling mounted drain 110mm ? Sink / bath - 32mm into the 110mm ??
  17. At the manifold ?
  18. Hmmmm, mine sounds very rattly inside - this is not good. It's all robust looking and chunky feeling - drop it on concrete floor and it doesn't seem happy....?
  19. What and mount the taps in the floor ? I’ve been coughing today and I read Corona virus was caused by 5g and can spread through online forums ...
  20. I’ve got these nice stand pipes for the free standing bath taps . Due to bathroom re arrangements I can’t take the pipe feeds through the floor because of ufh . I *could* chop out the screed - find the ufh and drill holes for the pipes through that - but that might be asking for trouble !!!
  21. It’s only for filter access yes ? . Don’t think my neighbour would appreciate a shower access panel in their lounge !! ??
  22. Orange bit appears just a clip for the top door - but no sensor or electric related to it . Blue clip thing no idea where that came from - again might not be related to issue
  23. Dropped it !! Some bits came off - tape doesn’t feed through even though motor and spindle turns . Anyone else got one and can tell me where these bits are meant to go !! ?
  24. Ok - with both of these it appears you need to have an uninterrupted water supply I.e add a header tank !! I’m guessing unlike a thermostatic mixer which will reduce the flow in event of not enough hot or cold - these ones just stop ??? I might have that wrong - would love anyone with a digital shower to tell me . Sounds a bit pants
  25. I believe the thermostatic cartridge can be changed from the front .
