  1. Lol ! Think you’ll be lucky ! Of course you could offer to pay half now and a small fee to ‘hold’ it for 12 months ... Fantastic doors by the way ! - though my finger scanner has since died ☹️
  2. You could do as I did Buy somewhere to live in ( with mortgage ) long term cheaper plus you get any capital appreciation. Also if you run over timescale it’s not an issue . This has worked well for us . Rent would of been 800pcm . Purchasing ( with a 40k deposit ) makes our interest only mortgage at 300pcm . Property is worth about 30k more than we paid for it after 3 years .
  3. Yep . Temporary door . Rk doors are fantastic but you don’t want it banged or scratched
  4. Naughty bad boy ! ADMIN!!!!!
  5. Might just Chuck 1000 tubes of ct1 in there ?
  6. I meant I'll fill the entire gap with tile adhesive . Or maybe concrete then the last 20 mm tile adhesive. Then decoupling matt over the lot THEN adhesive the tiles down. So it's all level with the screed
  7. I was being sarcastic ? Tile adhesive ( flexible ) will fill it . Why snap the tiles off possibly?
  8. Bollicks to you all @ProDave was right ! Dremel off that bit and have a massive step of maybe 8mm ! Wonder if my best mate @Onoff would 3D print me a cap to go over the bottom of that section and hide the cut ? ?
  9. No gap at the top for this !
  10. It is . I shuttered in a bit too far . No problemo though
  11. Gap at top ????
  12. Easy peasey with tile adhesive
  13. 350kg x2 doors ? Ill pass on that ?
  14. Never heard of karndean . Quickly looked at the website - what actually is it ??
  15. Yes it does ! It will look like a horrible hack if I do that . The frames are coated and my dremel ( and it’s owner ) aren’t confident of ability to make a neat job of it
  16. 8mm tile with 2mm bead tight ! Sliding door has to clear it !!! Thats no adhesive or Matt
  17. I don’t think that’s right !!
  18. I just worry about chipping - but yes edging could prevent that . I just wanted it completely flush . Getting ocd the more I tile
  19. A dangerous position to be ...
  20. I’m thinking ahead ( probably by a year ? ) But I’ve got to tile this large floor . Don’t fancy grinding the screed lower ! That tile is around 8mm ; without adhesive or Matt it lips the door ? Anyone installed any 4mm floor tiles ? ( I think that’s the thinnest you can get ) I still need to get a decoupling mat and adhesive under there somehow ! . I usually use a 10mm notch to give a 5mm bed . Can I go lower ? 4mm notch to give 2mm bed???
  21. Well Yours you are behind @Onoff for the free 11k hand out
  22. Yes but they’d never get finished ! Its yours though if Zoot doesn’t accept it
