  1. Stopped charging the EV PW presumably realises it’s low and at the moment still drawing from SE
  2. I changed a parameter to avoid the charge / discharge cycle . SE can only charge from solar or discharge . At 00:30 it will change to charge from grid . At 04:30 it will change back to charge solar or discharge .
  3. Things of note . PW max output is 5kwh sustained as is SE In reality this isn’t possible. As PW sees SE as solar and inverter max is 3.66 then max output is 8.66kwh . Anything above that will take from the grid . In practice this isn’t an issue ; just make sure total house load doesn’t exceed that ( unless there is PV also ) .
  4. Not sure what you mean . House total load is around 7.5kw as we speak . SE is discharging as is PW ( PW can only do 5kwh sustained ) . No evidence of grid draw nor yo yo between them . This I have seen before and fits in with my understanding of how I expect it to work . How “they” know - not a clue 😁
  5. No . It’s being used . PW and SE are both charging EV…
  6. What do you mean ? PW sees this as “real” solar …
  7. Some faffing ! But got it all going for the test . SE is set to “ discharge to maximise export “ - the alternative didn’t seem to work ! . So SE is giving up max juice to supplement PW to charge my EV as it thinks it’s exporting ….
  8. Actually; I forgot - SWMBO is WfH - so we will start emptying batteries far quicker than I imagine 😁
  9. So much for “ poor PV generation “ today . Everything’s 100% full and exporting . I’ll wait until later until PV is low . Then charge EV .
  10. I just wanted to say yes so that I felt useful .
  11. No idea ! First thing is PW and SE charge from grid simultaneously ( no EV charging ) . I’m emptying my PW and SE deliberately into my EV to force them to charge from the grid . I would assume EV charging is simply seen as a load to PW and SE like everything else …..
  12. Yes
  13. FAKO = (expletive deleted)ing Awful (C/K)rap (from) Overseas
  14. I have the official real mc coy . You have to be careful as even when fully clipped a wire can occasionally pull out ! . I use on mains and stuff because I’ve got big nuts and ain’t afraid of dying . You bought cheap sub standard shite so you deserve an electric shock . Enjoy ( it’s a slow night for me so need to post any crap )
  15. That’s a number 1
  16. Wonder what the lighting is for a number 3 …..
  17. Thanks - will check it out later
  18. Address please ?
  19. Tomorrow night could be the day ! EV sufficiently low . PV generation for tomorrow looks low . So ! Late in the afternoon empty PW into EV . Keep going then PW will pull from SE and drag that down . Then set SE to charge at off peak …. then wait !!

  21. It’s all getting to complicated all this talk . So I’ll just stick with
  22. Patience guys ! . I’m driving my EV everywhere so I can flatten it
  23. I did think this ! . Not about showering in the night ; that’s a given ! . What happens when either is 100% full ? - does it act differently/ change modes . Fun and games in the multi verse !
  24. This installer didn’t install the PW so assume CT clamps etc. in that are “ as is “ . Would you like to place a guess on what will happen when both go to charge off peak from the grid ??
  25. Don’t know will look . As it just doesn’t take regardless then effectively it can maybe distinguish between PV and power source ( as such )
