  1. Well that’s the confusion . Either side you wouldn’t want just 3 ‘bits’ . The otherside is nothing ; flush with hinges . I unscrewed one of those bits expecting it to fall out - it didn’t . It won’t move no other supplied timber apart from architrave .
  2. Hmmmm These 2 short bits of vertical timber ( 3rd one at the base ) . I thought they were for transportation- but they are the door jamb ???? 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Rather than 1 nice continual length ??? or have I got this wrong ?
  3. I've been saying that for years and years - though I say it when I get to the 10th time also.....
  4. Some walk on glazing arrived yesterday..... I haven't been brave enough to unpack that yet.....
  5. Ordered 2 doors 7 weeks ago ( pre hung ). One hinged on the left (so push on the right from inside ) the other the opposite way round. Both turned up today ; but both hinged on the left!! Checked my order ( assumption is I am wrong ). I AM CORRECT!!! Everyone f's up at some point.
  6. I put washer pipe outlet hose bits through - to act as a sleeve on the Hep2o and stop it rubbing against timber / concrete
  7. Hmmmmmm . Practice makes perfect
  8. Let SWMBO choose then you can’t be wrong . It will be the most expensive btw …
  9. Depends what you want . Imho rimless ( steady ) , wall mount . Easier to clean under ( or in my case for robot vac ) ; also you can make higher if you are taller like me .
  10. Oh no ! which is hot and which is cold !!!
  11. Ax6600 3 nodes
  12. Distressingly neat
  13. And it still won’t connect to the mesh network. I assume this is the standard phone in Cornwall?
  14. Your phone ain’t gonna work !
  15. Ignore the cheap skates on here with shite like “ a taps a tap “ , “ what’s wrong with ikea “ - android users typically .
  16. Forgot to ask . You’re not a Android user are you ? 🙄
  17. iPhone X . So relatively new . SWMBO has an older model ( can’t check it ) which works also . I was more under the impression the node does the work rather than the phone . Just like outside and you roam between radio masts .
  18. Then look ! This is the fun stuff !!
  19. Not sure of your choices for fittings . But I mainly went with roper Rhodes . If I hit you with one of their taps it would kill you . I like that . Not killing you ; but the fact it’s not plastic shitty shat crap .
  20. The flush plates can be bitch expensive. from memory I choose the plastic ‘chrome ‘ for 45 quid . The real geberit chrome was like 160 quid or something dumb . I Um’d and ah’d over that because anything tactile I want to be absolute solid I.e metal . It’s probably the only thing I let go ( though now I’m annoyed and might change it ! ) . So taps / door handles / shower fittings - metal , solid I.e unfortunately expensive .
  21. Bought mine here Can’t say best price ; but delivery was quick https://www.qssupplies.co.uk/Brand/Geberit/67.htm
  22. The thing to take from this ( specifically for myself and no dis respect to @Thorfun and @Onoff efforts ) - is that any idiot can build an entire underground house with initially ( and indeed even now ) very little skill /knowledge . I think that’s pretty cool ; but you need this forum for it …
