Have to ask @ProDave ; what are you doing in @Onoff ‘s house ?
-
Now that’s brilliant!!

SWMBO also not sure about the doors … only 45cm wide 😁 . Couldn’t fit 2 60cm next to each other and architrave . Though a wider door on the WC doesn’t really help .
-
Well that’s the thing . This is a SWMBO request . If I needed a 💩 in there not only is there not enough space but I can’t squat low enough . I’ll tell bco “ super efficient use of space maximising essential amenities “ - sounds like council BS they like .
-
Yeah I know the regs for a ground level wc are for wheel chair access etc . But I’m below ground 😁 Kind of like a toilet on a plane . Photo shows it all . I’ll just remove the WC before bco inspects 😂

Mines real small . Floor area roughly 71cm x 75cm . That’s all I had . Anyone gone smaller ? 🙄😁

Just read up ! You are indeed correct !! No issues ( yet ) - does say Evios will honour current Andersen products and customers
-
Oh ! Didn’t know they had !!! When did that happen ???
-
I have Andersen charger . Too expensive imho but you can customise the colour choices 😁 . Does look smart . With the cable wrapped into it - it doesn’t look like a charger ( which is the effect I wanted ) . By careful management ( I.e as soon as I see export I plug the EV in ) - current runnings costs for EV are zero . Indeed electricity costs to date ( offsetting import against export of course ) are near zero . A simple way I do it is my direct debit to octopus is £25 a month . After 12 months I have £300 in credit 😁

Yeah Tandy stuff wasn’t quite in the same league

As a kid the best I had was https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gakken_EX-System ( before I discovered the soldering iron )

In my experience of teens they have very little ability nor understanding of how to do any of this . Tiktok , play fortnight and they “ understand “ technology….. Went to my daughters house a few weeks ago . Their BT router has the default admin password ( they think because they’ve set the WiFi password that’s it ) . So I login and block their Mac addresses to demonstrate my superior knowledge. Sadly they were impressed ; and still don’t know how I did it .

Perhaps I was hacked by the reds . After all my secrets for certain .

Wonder if nukes have a web based interface ?
-
Yep . Everything cloud based . No you or I ; just collective data .
-
I think most things with a ‘display ‘ will disappear as it’s an additional cost compared to a web based interface .
-
In essence the battery was working . I just can’t see it or alter it 🙄 The local WiFi access is a good thing though ( now I can use it ) - because I can gain some control even if Tesla servers disappear . Every days a skool day
-
I hate cloud based stuff with a passion . There’s been plenty of examples with Tesla cars / ring doorbell’s - if the cloud infrastructure has an issue YOU have an issue and there isn’t a lot you can do about it .

The PW battery does have a nice light. It was a good solid green is good. Gateway also has nice lights; they were all good too. Agree though a simple coloured light is very reassuring except when it says "all working" and it isn't.
-
Yes and no. Appwise you can't login. Webwise you can - but very little control i.e. can just check it's "working" If though you get within range of the gateway you can login to its local Wifi. But! ( here's the thing I didn't know ). Though there's a serial number and password on it ; apparently that password gets changed once the installer sets it up ( so you can't log into it because you are believing the password is as it says but it isn't ). So once you get the correct password you can login as long as you are in range of the gateway. You can see it's working; but you are looking at local data not Tesla server data. Since install the PW has had no real issues ( a few hiccups in the App ) ; unlike SolarEdge who dick with the cloud based stuff every week or so causing all kinds of strange behaviour. What took the time today was contacting everyone and obviously me learning a bit more about the PW.... - next time I'll have a better and quicker way to check things.

STOP WASTING MY (expletive deleted)ING TIME!
-
My 'choosing' was to check everything and make sure it's no problem my end. Tesla said catogorically "all working our end" . Time is the most valuable commodity . You can spend it but never get it back.
