  1. Yes, we have all of our stuff in our utility and it's been studded in. It has meant we have less space than we thought (2125 in total now) but will fit an 800 base unit (because we have gone for a large sink) and then a washer and dryer with some narrower units above (kind of like bridging units as we already have one 900mm spare from our main kitchen so just going to put a 600mm bridging either side) as we didn't want anything too low over our sinks (hot/steamy water). You can see the 'before' it was boxed in pics on a post on here.
  2. Tried that with no success. It seems to be completely stuck.
  3. That should say we don't have the key barrel/fingerprint sensor operational and it's just been locked using the turn knob from the inside. It got opened today and now the block seems to be stuck. We can't open or close the door. If you turn the knob to the left the block seems to move slightly but we can't get it to release.
  4. I was thinking more of these ones https://www.doorhandlecompany.co.uk/excel-hardware-precision-bolt-through-magnetic-tubular-latch-18364/
  5. Help! Our Internorm front door has one of these door block things on it. As yet we don't have
  6. Just wondering re magnetic latches if anyone has any issue with either doors staying shut, e.g. strength of the magnetic latches? I can't remember if it was on this forum or elsewhere but I do recall someone having issues with them.
  7. It isn't! It's LVT as I didn't want tiled flooring or walls.
  8. Seems to be a popular choice if you have tiled floors
  9. Do you have any trim on the top or is your mirror flush? I can see the sides but what edging would we put on the top?
  10. Do you have it above your sink as a sort of splashback. We weren't going to but we have some left so were thinking about it but I'm not sure about how this would look with the trims/end caps.
  11. We have multipanel in our bathrooms but only in the showers and likely as splashbacks around the sink. I didn't want it on the walls to the floor....
  12. It's LVT flooring and they don't do a matching skirting. I've always had skirting in bathrooms, as much as I hate skirting I've never had any issues.
  13. We have a couple of floor standing vanity units. Does the skirting go behind these or are the units cut to allow for the skirting??
  14. Oh those foam pipe things that look like swimming pool noodles you wrap the pipes in. I get it now....
  15. No idea we aren't on site. It only got turned on yesterday. I know we had Kingspan in the walls do you mean it should also be elsewhere....
  16. I know, paint sprayer is coming again this weekend but I suspect there isn't much he can do in there which is annoying but I'm just thankful now we haven't got anyone off now isolating!
  17. It should have been done last weekend with the half of the house that was sprayed but the room wasn't finished plastered due to delays (Covid related).
  18. Well this is what my mum thought it was ? The heating went on today!!!! That 400 litre tank is enormous! I hope it pays off with the solar immersion. Hopefully someone is going to show us how the hell it all works!
  19. I don't expect him to run around, it was more his attitude to be honest and as if he was trying to criticise everything in front of the other guys. When I got straight onto the phone to Quooker there and then he seemed to shut up a bit. My wife works on the railway and is used to working with guys and described the term as him d**k swinging in front of the other trades. Builder has said to us all along if he wasn't so good at what he does he wouldn't use him because he can behave like a stroppy teenager.
  20. Yes we are going to take it off tomorrow before he gets to site. I'd wrap the bow tightly around his neck if I saw him.
  21. I've just managed to get a matching freestanding Hudson Reed tap and basin tap new and boxed for less than £100 which I'm collecting tomorrow from somewhere local. It will probably be far less hassle than driving round to try and sort the freestanding tap and get the missing bits for the Roper Rhodes under pressure! I'll get them taken off and try and figure it all out and sell them on eBay. The freestanding tap I haggled in with the bath so it was always going to be a punt. Quooker can sort out a washer pack for the Cube and Conbi (just need them to call them to order) and I then need one of these the plumber has said https://www.quooker.co.uk/drill-bit-set-31-024-00-9.html
  22. No, unfortunately not. I may just have to buy another. Thanks for the RR info I'll check them out. Now to sort the Quooker tap. Need all replacement washers for the Cube and Combi.
  23. We figured out the grand sum of what's missing on the floor standing tap.
  24. See now that's what I said I thought he meant but apparently not it's something else. I'm just going to order a new tap. I wasn't necessarily fussed about the Roper Rhodes one so I'll just get them to remove it and flog it and order a Bristan one or similar.
