Building Control Plans Submitted for Extension

As promised, here are my completed (I hope) drawings for building control, which I've just submitted to the local council. I'll post back on here with what they come back with, any changes required, and also any restrictions imposed.

I know some were asking what was required for BC plans, so hopefully this will give a good guide for a masonry cavity wall build.

Thought i'd added the final result for this, they passed without any problems, so if anyone needs to do some for an extension, these are probably reasonably good to follow.

There are but these aren't part of this particular extension, its installed in the kitchen which was the first one i did, around 2012.

Imagery looks good from what i can tell, but I can't read the text, image is too small, and when magnified it just goes fuzzy. Assuming you have all of your elevations and plan view?

Hi @MikeGrahamT21 thanks for sharing your building regs plans - it's hard to find good examples online. I just wondered what software you used to prepare this - in particular the insulation detailing? Thanks

QCAD was my weapon of choice for drawing the elevations. Insulation build ups came from ubakus (https://www.ubakus.de/u-wert-rechner/index.php?) which is free for most things, with a paid for option, but i just used the freebie.

I came across a few sites that offer sections for free. I got a lot of details from them.
let me know if I am allowed to post the links and I will.
