Moira Niedzwiecka
Shower tray just fitted & just a bit too short. I am left with a gap of 33mm. Once tiled gap will be about 20mm. Any suggestions on what to fill it in with?
Nickfromwales
Can the wall be dry lined with a moisture resistant plasterboard and set out to fill the gap? Will the whole wall be able to be done so there’s no ‘step’ ?
Nickfromwales
If not, the guys at PlasticSurgeon could probably ‘stretch’ it for you.

Temp
Could you centre the tray and tile both walls?
Ferdinand
An extra layer of some sort of tilebacker board 10mm thick at both ends? Could you glue it on with a strong waterproof adhesive eg https://www.diy.com/departments/evo-stik-serious-stuff-solvent-free-grab-adhesive-0-29l/212376_BQ.prd Ferdinand Edited March 26, 2019 by Ferdinand
nod
If you use The gypsum tilebacker board dabbed onto the wall You simply let the drywall set then drill 6 mill hole in the dabs and fix with the tilevacker knockins A top for anyone using the BG tilebacker boards They are not suitable for DD without mechanical fixings
Buster
Perhaps small battens it and use a showerboard panel on that wall?
Mr Punter
If you can't bring the whole wall out, just do the side up to the front of the shower tray. I will look OK when tiled. If you just extend the tray at the end you may have issues with the shower screen not fitting.
