Bifolds

Spent the afternoon fitting the bifolds

Though I’ve fitted plenty of windows and doors

Itvwas a first for bifolds

Not so difficult really 

Just a case of making sure everything is square and plumb

Looks great, I confess I got the makers of ours to install ours as they said it would take them an hour because they were practised at it).

Well done, in our last house we had them (as we do again) but after the joiners fitted them we had to take them back out and refit!

I don’t think I would make much money installing It took me five hours Putting the seals in was a very Slowww job

I measured for ours the other day ...

 

they are planned to be a "level threshold"  one.

I remember the BCO telling me it wasn't an issue as long as i 

"double back on myself" with the dampcourse .....problem is after he left

i wondered what the hell he meant LOL ?

 

...anyone got an idea ?

Our guys told me the first set they installed took forever but they had got it down to a fine art, plus, ad they installed them they will come out and re adjust if required.

I fitted two sets of aluminium folding doors a couple of years ago, supplied by 'The Folding Sliding Door Company' using their installation instructions and video below:-

The first set took me most of a day to fit but the second set took about half a day.......
