January 12Jan 12 Author I suppose it could be worse . This is a utility room - any different tiles wouldn’t be seen from the doorway . Got some spare black bathroom ones I could use in the centre . When you can’t hide it make a feature ?? 🙄

January 12Jan 12 Author I think best is to not bother with a “ strip “ nor attempt to match ( and fail ) . So tile half differently so it looks deliberate. But with what ?

I did contemplate doing a bodge like that . But I won’t ever sleep knowing the hideous thing I’ve done . The other hideous things I’ve done I can live with !
January 12Jan 12 Get the best match you can. Dry lay them. See if you can tell the difference. If you can rip up the rest of the old tiles and finish it with the new tiles.
