S73: Amending drawings and another consultation

Hi all,

 

Is it possible (with agreement from planning officer) to amend drawings and then consult again ? Or is a new S73 required ? I.e. max 1 consultation per S73

It is possible.

Happening to me at the moment, new red line to take into account land under my control for visibility splays.

New notice posted with 21 day consultation.

This was agreed after a constructive meeting with the planning officer.

Yes, this is possible.  The only annoyance is that the consultation period starts again.  We nearly did this a week ago, but couldn’t take up the offer as our architect couldn’t produce the drawings in time.

Are all LPAs required to offer this ? Our planning consultant is advising that the relevant LPA "won't do reconsultations any more"

Some LPAs are becoming very inflexible with applications and have placed limits on when they would allow amendments to live applications that would result in reconsultations. I've seen this more commonly with LPAs in the South East.
