Self build laziness

Featured Replies

Now as most of you know I tend to take my time on my build . Enjoying the anemic pace .

I need some sbr for tomorrow .

Could order from Amazon for delivery tomorrow- but it might arrive to late .

Could drive to Screwfix / Toolstation and get some .

But I’ve got to move outside my dungeon .

Decided to use toolstation same day delivery ( fast track ) . Taken me over 30 mins to get the app to work correctly and give me that delivery option . Longer than it would take to drive there and collect .

That’s lazy isn’t it .

Though I am sat here watching the little van icon on the map for delivery . He’s unlikely to find me as most drivers get stuck .

But it’s nice to watch a little van icon

That's the stuff I use, excellent. I don't want to put a damper on it, but don't get too excited about tomorrow, things can go wrong .

Everyone blames Coldplay

I am such a lazy self builder that I am not even contemplating building.

Your laziness (so called) is probably about self-care. Working efficiently. Being canny. We all need some downtime. ....

You appear to me to be a reasonably hardworking person - for a Brizztolean that is. 😑

As Pisstool was the capital of the UK slave trade (why we don't have sugar in our tea down here), the esquires used the chattels to do the work.

I've wasted many hours going round merchants to get the odd thing here and there. I think my appetite for not getting in the car extends to about £6. How much is the the Toolstation rapid delivery?
