Huckleberrys Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Hello I have some wall lights similar to the ones in the photo...my walls are due to be skimmed but I don't know if I should mount these flush with the plasterboard so they are skimmed over, or sit them 2mm proud so they are skimmed up to? Anybody done any like this before? The fitting itself is made from plaster. Thanks
JohnMo Posted February 24 Posted February 24 (edited) What happens when they fail. Do you dig them out of the plaster replace and then get the plasterer back. "This product contains integrated LED's" so not a replacement item. Edited February 24 by JohnMo
nod Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I’ve done similar to these before 600x200 leave 4 mil proud Quick sand then paint The bulb fitting is usually magnetic
Huckleberrys Posted February 25 Author Posted February 25 Yeah you can access driver and bulb etc really easily. Leaving proud was my original thought that way the nice clean light tunnel stays nice and clean!

The leds are just held in with a metal clip / ring and it’s a 2 min job to switch a dead lamp out. I buy my ones from Tornado lighting. Some more info here:
