Insulation suppliers?

Apologies about another "who shall  I contact?) posting. Again, I just don't want to miss out on any obvious suppliers/merchants out there and as insulation is one of may main cost areas, I'm looking to get the best price I can....obviously.

I'm looking to get a mix of EPS and PIR for under slab and slabs for in between rafters ("frametherm").

I've tried some merchants that people here have suggested before on ebuild including the following:

• Minster
• Encon
• SIG
• Ecclestone & Hart

And a host of local merchants and online-only outlets (Less2build, InsulationGiant, Insulation Express). so far, some are double the cost!!!

Any obvious ones worth trying please?

I use FGF in Birmingham for my insulation, fermacell and external cladding boards. Great prices though delivery can take a while. I found web shops to be a lot more expensive.

Was this 10mm & 12.5mm fermacell..? What sort of quantities..?

10mm, I purchased 2 pallets so far with another 2 or 3 to go. Based on room heights, I ordered 2500x1200 boards to minimise cutting and wastage, 60 to the pallet.

And that's for walls and ceilings..? Whereabouts are you in the country..?

Aylesbury, Bucks. I decided to use 12.5 plasterboard for ceilings and fermacell on walls only - focus attention where the problem is - I dislike plasterboard for walls e.g. hanging anything up becomes a big job with an uncertain outcome.

I am going to be in Aylesbury this Sunday.  Can't help with the insulation though, it is 14 years since I last lived there.
