Rosslyn
Plot purchased 7th Jan, planning decision in 4 days. Plans are finalised and ready to sign build contract. It's going to be a busy year. Look forward to tapping into people's experiences and hopefully get some good advice.
mjc55
So you put in for planning before purchasing the plot? And had the build contract ready to sign! Good going. What would happen if PP refused?

My oh my, you're out of the blocks faster than Donald Trump on a double dose of Fentanyl-supercharged laxatives. Long shot... that house looks like one I know in Stonesfield .... Welcome anyway

What would happen if PP refused? SODC delayed the planning decision by requesting a Bat survey that had already been submitted, rather odd. I have had positive support so far and didn't want my programme to slip 🤞

I worked on a replacement dwelling in Headington, and I have to be honest it is just great to see old, inefficient bags of 💩 from an era gone by being razed and replaced with something great. That was an ICF build. Are you allowed a 2-storey replacement or 1.5 with room in roof / other? Bungalows seem (imo) such a waste of a good bit of ground space. It's described as 1.5 floors but just over 8m high so lots of room upstairs. Lovely big plot so much better house for the location.
