AdamD Posted January 2 Posted January 2 We’re having a loft conversion and have been asked which roof tiles we want, either concrete edgemere tiles or composite slate tiles. Pros and cons of each? We really don’t know!

Natural slates will last twice as long but cost 3 times as much. 1

SuperJohnG Posted January 2 Posted January 2 What do you currently have? For longevity and Aestethics...go slate but natural. If you're not bothered and its in the houses adjacent go tile My slates Cupa RH2
Conor Posted January 3 Posted January 3 What's wrong with your existing roof tiles? I'd assume yud be replacing like for like. Your planning permission may not permit a change in roof covering.
