I have found a local neighbour/plumber who is going to help with my UFH and he suggested hiring a pipe clipping tool but I have failed to find anyone who hires them out. Any suggestions.?

Turns out that even Travis Perkins can’t get one locally and they will only source one for me if I have an account with them ?. dpmiller I have sent you a private message.

Just opening this back up - Wunda delivered me a bunch of staples that go with the gun however I didn't buy the gun. Is it worth getting it? (100 plus VAT I think). They said theyll send me the thumb staples...but I imagine that'll I'll have a really sore thumb after laying 1km of pipe....

I just used my thumb... and after that got sore my toe (in a shoe of course).

it took me longer to get the pipe at the correct angle into the manifold than it took me to lay and staple all the pipe work.

Oh also the is the pipe spinny thing that is part of the ‘pool borrowing’ stash - it helps spool out the pipe... which can bit a bit annoying to do by hand.
