Post and beam
I need to get a minimum of 1000 litres of water to site this week for the blockwork to start. Can anyone please give me a ballpark figure for North hertfordshire so i have an idea if i am getting a fair price when i get quotes. Many thanks in advance
JohnMo
Ask them to supply, they just need an IBC, builders generally have then kicking about. If not look on Facebook Marketplace or gumtree, IBCs normal sell for about £50 to 100. Then fill yourself or again ask them to.
Post and beam
The groundworkers brought a 1000 litre container with them 3 weeks ago. There is no water available on site and they have asked me to organise it. So i need to but some.

Oz07
Yes i have heard. Thing is with a newbuild you pay for building water as part of the connection anyway. Who's it hurting?

Fred Dibnah was on television several times filling his boiler from them and telling us it was illegal to do so. I wonder how many times he got fined?

Post and beam
1000 litres at £108 inc VAT. Sorted. Shame it would have cost £1.20 if i could have used my own tap.
