Free CAD software recommendations please?

I need to satisfy 1 condition on my plans with small tweaks. Bicycle store back to fence....move to small trees away from neighbours fence line and front of house fence arrangement.Can anyone recommend a good bit of free CAD software please? I could do by hand but would maybe be easier to make amendments with software?

Try a free 'dwg viewer' software. You will be able to open the CAD drawing. Not sure if the free versions allow you to make changes though.

There are quite a few free CAD software packages for Windows and Linux, if you have a Mac, tough.

NanoCAD 5.0 has a free version that's pretty good.

Does anyone know if there is a service offered to amend the drawings as stated in order for me to get the condition over the line before the 4th September please?

 

I can't think of on easier or quicker way as I've tried amending the drawings to suit and it it's proving more difficult than I thought.

Find a free web site that will convert a pdf to an image. Edit the image in a free 2D image app like Paint.net (bit old). Convert back to pdf. Should take about an hour.

Just tried it at https://cadsofttools.com/pdf-to-dwg-online/

Then opened it with LibreCad portable.

Something with lines on it was there.

I just downloaded the OPs pdf file, converted it, and then opened it up.

Took all of 5 minutes.

I just made all my changes in a pdf viewer. Had to move a boiler and a few other things. Cut, copy and paste various bits from the original drawings on to new locations.

Bit late, but if you know any students... the whole of adobe creative suite is free. This includes sixth form students.
