Does this quote look OK for a 3 bed mid terrace roof please?

Quotation for the roof works
Install new Roof.
Remove top ridge tiles. remove all roof tiles, remove all roofing battens, remove
any roofing felt. Install Eve support protection trays to gutterline. Lay new
160gsm High grade breathable membrane. fit new BS 5534:2003+A1:2010
treated roof battens, secured with 63mm galvanised ring shank fixings, lay New
roof marley roof tiles in colour grey or brown style, install new interlocking dry
verge system
install a ventilated Ridge system. This dry ridge system offers ridge level
ventilation and complies with BS 8612 including stainless steel fixings. Lay New
ridge tiles. Clear all guttering debris.
Quotation includes labour, materials, Installation and removal of scaffolding
and waste removal and disposal. all products are BllS standard and comply with
Nhbc compliant
£5600
20 year guarantee on completion.
Insurance backed for additional costs
Payment via cash or bank 20% before or on the day scaffolding is erected and
80% on completion

I'd rather speak to someone local.

 

Doesn't seem to mention design and engineering.

 

VAT?

 

Come to think of if , this doesn't seem specific to any project, but generic.

Looks ok to me but I would request sample tiles for approval. 

 

Think I also want to see how the dry ridge looked compared to the neighbours.

 

Do you have a chimney or vent pipes through the roof? What sort of flashing.

 

Ideally ask to go see a house they are currently doing.

I always remember a tax man speaking to my old man years ago and he suggest to tradesman not to mention VAT on quotes but just to include it. Says it puts most people off.
