a swimming stroke like the crawl with a scissors movement of the legs.

Last time I was arrested I had a leg spasm, think it was caused by a coppers kneecap.  All I remembered was saying 'ha, missed both my legs'.

As this a steel, temporary/portable building, won't the mobile home wiring regs come into play.

I would hope a electrician would know, but many may not have had to do one in the past.

Not AFAIK, as it isn't a home?! The arrangement I've recommended is basically mechanically fixed extension leads, and nothing more.

Non-habitable space, storage only, so regs is moot? An electrician would just be signing off the power where it's been chopped in to, and the downstream CU to the 2x 32a sockets. That's where the electrician will get in their van and drive away, leaving behind a fully compliant installation, for extension leads to be plugged into.

I wired a container converted as a gym.  (Jim's gym)  I idd it all in conduit and singles on the surface and treated it as a fixed install.  The only important but is make sure there is an earth bond to the frame of the container.

Digression

.....also keeps us interested and the OP (and others) can learn other stuff, eg planning and structure came up here.

As long as we don't get whimsical when there is a serious problem...ahhh but I digress from the current discussion
