Wood stove (for cases of great cold) or not?

Mousehole in Cornwall.

2700 miles of nothing to the west.

Then this.

This only shows 4, but counted 7 so far.

At least these ones are visible.

If smoke is visible than the stove/open fires is not being used correctly.

An urban environment like that is not an appropriate setting for a stove.

In the direction of the prevailing wind I have no neighbours for 100 kilometres.

In the right location they work.

Mousehole is hardly urban.

As a settlement, no.

But from the angle of the photo it looks like a lots of houses are clustered together.

With the hill behind it's not a good place for burning wood. On a calm cold day it would be unpleasant and bad for your health.

However there are locations like mine that are fine for wood burning stoves.

I'd turn back!

I did, only after I got ripped off again, even after mentioning that the last one was lacking.

Think that is a cafe that will be struck off the list. They can't even make the simplest coffee there is without (expletive deleted)ing it up.

The girl even said "come back if you need it topped up'. FFS .

"Stick a head on that love" would be my response. Pret up in town is the same, sometimes I wonder if I've been given an empty cup. I pay the £25 a month subscription too.

My "cafe" is better, just back in fact:

I am surprised you go there, it's polluting everyone outside.

Looks more like a pub than a cafe?

Especially when I burn my crisp packets.

Hence the "cafe" in inverted commas. More a temple where I go to forget / pray for death or 6 numbers.
