Swapping rain for frost

I’m not sure which is worse Frost or rain 

Three days slating this week Monday Tuesday where ok Today was very slippery up there 

 

Oh nearly forgot 

I blew the engine on the Bumper hoist 

New one being dropped off in the morning 

So 300 slates had to go up the ladder today

DIY on an absolute budget, I did not have luxuries like that.  All mine went up the ladder.  I estimated i climbed 3 Munro's up and down that ladder.

Yep the bumper hoist is so handy £120 per week won’t break the bank

It's defo cold. 

 

Yesterday I thought the pipe to our caravan froze, turns out I just forgot I'd turned the borehole pump off. 

 

But today it did freeze a wee bit and then spent most of the day getting ice out the pipe to our washing machine in our porch as there is no insulation there. 😂
