Pocster
Grrr 😡  32mm pipework everywhere ( 36mm outer ) . Saniflo fitting ; pipe too large I.e needs to be 32mm internal . Saniflo phone call confirms this . So I need a very short length of 32mm external . Any brands where this is true ? - floplast it certainly isn’t .  Or is this a push fit pipe v’s solvent weld size difference ?? Carrerahill
What is the coupling on the sani? Compression? Â I think solvent weld is 36mm OD but push fit pipe is smaller... Â Edited October 6, 2022 by Carrerahill

Carrerahill
1 minute ago, pocster said: Yes  I'd have thought it would have taken the 36mm as the compression is often the open used when going from solvent to pushfit change over.  I think you will find pushfit pipe will fit.
Pocster
Found this  https://www.ondemandsupplies.co.uk/plumbing-blog-on-demand-supplies/why-does-waste-pipe-come-in-different-sizes-32mm-and-36mm-40mm-and-43mm/  So still must find presumably 32mm (external )push fit pipe

It just says 32mm so internal / external ? . its floplast so assume 36mm external - which is too large .. There is a tolerance allowed within the pipe dimensions so the internal diameter is between 29.6mm - 31.2mm and the outside diameter is between 34.4mm - 34.8mm. Pocster
No (expletive deleted)ing plumbers on this forum are there . I put the rubber fitting in boiling water . It’s the tightest rubber I’ve ever put on but does fit 😉

Russell griffiths
I’m confused. How are you going to get a dirty great Richard the third down that little  pipe.

Pocster
Whilst rummaging through my plumbing box ( not a euphemism ) I found 2 other poly pipe segments . No markings on them but a few mm difference on all of them .
joe90
I think I remember using an odd size pipe (push fit??) with difficulty into a compression fitting and needing a thinner rubber seal ring 🤔
