HMD
We have installed a wet UFH in all of downstairs and we’re really struggling with what type of flooring to get. We are a farmhouse with children and dogs so need something that can’t be easily damaged and doesn’t matter about getting wet. Does anyone have any recommendations? We are looking at wood effect porcelain tiles but I’m really worried it’ll look too fake…. Edited December 30, 2021 by HMD
JohnMo
We have a mix of oak engineered, tiles and carpet. Carpet somewhat kills the usefulness of UFH. But what I may like, you could hate, you pay the money, so choose something that suits the house, your decor and your budget.

I laid Italian Porcelain slats on our build Extremely hard wearing and works well with UFH Most people think it wood We plan to use the same or similar on the next one

IanR
We went with Poured Resin in our living space - love it and ideal for UFH Similar to you, we're a farmhouse with children and dogs. Easy to clean, no grout lines or expansion gaps and seems to be lasting well after nearly 5 years.
