Clinteastwood Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 (edited) Hi Everyone I'm nearing the end of my first self-build project: a timber framed, larch clad, slate roofed 1.5 storey 4bed house in the Scottish Highlands. We have air-source heat pump and underfloor heating, plus MVHR which means there's less need to open windows - especially during the midge season! You could say my specialist subject is Ikea as nearly every room has some Ikea stuff in it, including the kitchen which has turned out very well. The MVHR has been interesting too, with some lessons learned after the first winter of it being in use. I've got an impending issue with the final Building Standards sign-off, which I'll post separately in a relevant forum. All the best! Edited June 4, 2021 by Clinteastwood
Ronan 1 Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Lovely looking house and seems to be a nice looking location.
