I am planning to build a single storey, timber frame and clad, extension to the back and side of my house. I've attached a very unfinished drawing but hopefully it will give the general idea! I'm in the very early stages and I've not done this before so it's great to know that there is somewhere I can go to for inspiration, ideas and support...
newhome Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Welcome. It sometimes helps to say where you are building, even if it’s just England, Scotland or wherever as the building regs aren’t the same across the UK.

Thank you ToughButterCup... Boars Hill would be very nice but sadly not... up in Littlemore, which to my knowledge has never flooded...
