March 8, 20215 yr I was delighted to come across this site in my research today . I am planning to build a single storey, timber frame and clad, extension to the back and side of my house. I've attached a very unfinished drawing but hopefully it will give the general idea! March 8, 20215 yr Welcome. It sometimes helps to say where you are building, even if it’s just England, Scotland or wherever as the building regs aren’t the same across the UK.
