Nulok PV modules

I know several people on here have used the Nulok roofing system, but was wondering if anyone had used their PV modules? 

 

We are about to start renovation (including reroof) of a house with a double hipped roof and want to incorporate PV. Whilst in roof panels are the obvious option, the awkward shape of the double hipped roof means that in the absence of any manufacturers of triangular PV panels the flexibility of a system like this seems attractive to maximise how much solar we can get on. 

 

Would be interested to hear of any good/bad experiences.

Friends of ours built a house in 2011 and used Nu-Lok with their built in PV modules and have been happy with the system especially because they claimed the full FiT payments.

Hello, we are in Australia but interested in the Nulok system which is being promoted here. All the reviews I can find are well out of date. Does anyone have an up-to-date experience with Nulok?

I’m particularly interested in the reliability and efficiency their solar tiles.

Have you tried searching the forum for Nulok, ordered by most recent posts? It doesn't look like there's been a lot posted about the system in the last couple of years:

As a rule, PV slates are expensive and of lower efficiency than normal modules.

They are a pain to wire up as well.

Unless it is the only way (planning constraints), best avoided.
