Bollicks to you all @ProDave was right !

Dremel off that bit and have a massive step of maybe 8mm !

Wonder if my best mate @Onoff would 3D print me a cap to go over the bottom of that section and hide the cut ? ?

8 mm is not massive, I have a 12mm step (but “up” to the door) and it’s hardly noticeable. I still wonder how you will fill that gap and not snap your tiles off?..

I was being sarcastic ?

Tile adhesive ( flexible ) will fill it . Why snap the tiles off possibly?

If the tiles are not supported and being stood on. How deep is that “hole“.

I meant I'll fill the entire gap with tile adhesive . Or maybe concrete then the last 20 mm tile adhesive. Then decoupling matt over the lot THEN adhesive the tiles down. So it's all level with the screed

Looks and feels like timber slats I did some at our daughters old house

Might of been because the Labour and materials where free ?
