You'd have been pretty close @Redoctoberbut we get the VAT paid for as part of their current offer so @Declan52 is pretty much spot on ...

...so the £9679 is the 50% off promo price, meaning the list is £20k???

I just saw their ad on the TV, 50% off, don't all rush.

How much of the price goes on commission and advertising I wonder?

There are several suppliers of 'integrated bedroom furniture'.  In additional to IKEA and DIY Homefit are supplyonlybedrooms.co.uk, kitchenbedroomdesign, larkandlarks,  and onlinebedrooms.  Trustpilot scores vary quite a bit.

Assembly instructions are few and far between: "designed for installation by professional tradesmen" - however onlinebedrooms have published a useful set of online videos on youtube.

I looked at DIY home fit, supply only bedrooms and also Larks and Larks and although I've only priced up a couple of units DIY home fit are coming out the cheapest.

we are using a mix of Ikea where we need standard size white cupboards and Lark&Larks because the carcasses can be the same colour as the doors, so gives a nice finished look. Also they come built so big time saving, and can be custom sized and have matched coloured end panels for an in-line look.
Not yet onto fitting wardrobes but pretty pleased with dining room although not quite finished.
