Has anyone got any tips for removing levelling clips that have broken in situ?Im

 

thinking just dampen then with a wet towel and try to manoeuvre?

 

Ive managed to get some out. some are more stuck. first time using them.

How are you breaking them off?

 

We used the perfect level master system, the clips break / broke off easily when kicking them or hitting them in the direction of the grout line.

 

See my post below - shows a link to a video (different brand but shows how easy they snap when hit along the grout line).

Normally just go round and kick each clip

You will have to tap it down Then grout over it

Have to be honest when I did my walls with them didn’t realise you are meant to break them in the grout direction . I glee fully went round with my rubber mallet smashing them off across the grout line . Only a few snapped wrong

Unfortunately yes.... and I achieved that wonderful chip trying to retrieve one of these levelling clips ?

In the end, we we were able to get them out or push them so far in they are covered with grout.

Your tiles look like a dark grey - if grouts a similar colour you might get away with it .
