Alexphd1
Got some solid oak (27&40mm butcher block) worktops to cut down for various jobs and the cuts will be on show. Need a new blade for the dewalt plunge saw, any recommendations? Also will need to router the sharp edge done slightly, any good recommendations on router bits. PeterW
Tried Axminster ..? I’ve got an Axcaliber CutPro which I used on laminate panels and it is really good. Same with their router bits - not cheap but edges seem to last. https://www.axminstertools.com/accessories/power-tool-accessories/sawing/circular-saw-blades-power-tool?a_blade_diameter=28497
Gone West
+1 for Axminster. They have a store fairly local to me and I usually try there first for tools, adhesives etc.
Russell griffiths
I just brought a couple of TREND router bits, very good but stupidly expensive.

Have you seen the packs they do ..? They seem to be good prices for the 6 pack based on singles but usually have a couple of odd ones you never use !! Not yet, I’m very new to this router thingy and just wanted two bits, when I get into door fitting and the second fix stuff I will do a bit more looking. What do you suggest? markc
Freud blades every time (unless you need a flat top tooth for joinery). Go for 48 tooth as a good all rounder.
