Was this 'animal glue' made from boiled rabbit skins?

I remember seing this used to reinact the 'solvite man' advert.

Amazing stuff in tension, but could creep over time with lateral loads.

Fully organic and breathable and much nicer to use than modern urathane glues - apart from the smell

Don't know what it was made from, but they were little honey coloured granules/balls. I liked the smell when I was a kid.
