Tax Break for pre fab construction

Not really sorting the main problem is it.

 

Most industries can hunt around for some sort of tax break, incentive or grant to use.  Can't see that this is any different.

Can't be faffed with registering to read the whole article, but just wanted to ask- what sort of tax break are they talking about, that doesn't already apply to new builds?

All that the self builder of such houses needs, is the VAT reclaim scheme amended so it would also accept a letter of comfort from the council planning department to confirm the house has been built according to the planning permission. At the moment it needs a building control completion certificate which of course you won't have.
