redtop Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 any views on quality of floplast v polypipe v marley? Both floplast and polypipe seem readily available, marley less so. Once I get pipe out of the ground and into the stack, branches, etc is the quality the same for each company? cheers yall
PeterW Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Floplast fittings can be a bit brittle and the ring seals a bit tight but I prefer Brett Martin if I can get it. Osma and Polypipe are much the same.
Oz07 Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 I've had pipe that is half the weight of other pipe and sent it back so be careful. Think you're ok with any main manufacturer but be careful of independents selling super cheap gear compare it to decent stuff
Mike Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 (edited) I've no problem using plastic above ground - any of the main brands - but have never used anything other than Hepworth SuperSleve clayware underground. It will cost more, but it's inherently more robust. Edited March 31, 2020 by Mike
redtop Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 thanks everyone, good advice and I will be going with polypipe / brett martin
