Hello - terrified from Scotland

Hi everyone

I'm about to start a Victorian semi extension which I'll be project managing amid full time work and two kids because I've not got quite enough funds to make this 2 year hell hole of planning rejection and setbacks before we've even started. Can't believe I've found you lot, a wealth of information and U-values advice!!!!! I'm absolutely terrified but sure I'll learn a lot along the way, including how to lay the 65sq metres of reclaimed parquet..... (OMG)

A semi extension is not a *huuuge* project, and others have done similar so advice and experience are around - so relax (a little), for a bit.

 

Recommend vodka and chocolate ? .

Don’t know about terrified but I paid a visit to a house in the process of being built today and the smell of new wood set something off in me that my hubby is now terrified off ?
