So our lurking is over!, we have been granted pp yesterday for our 3 bed house, so the hard work begins. This site has been great to answer loads of questions and at times it's been brilliant to see the help offered to people's questions/problems. This will be our first big project so I'm sure we will have loads over time.

 

we are in Norfolk just outside the broads authorities remit (phew) but in a conservation area.

 it once we received full materials consent there’s been absolutely no issues

Yes welcome. Did you manage to avoid any awkward planning conditions? Next stop CIL exemption claim forms :-)

Just have to clear the roof with the planners, that's it, we were quite surprised, as a neighbour objected leading to a 4 wk delay, but we had to move the house a little within the plot.

 

we too are building Ina garden plot of my father in law, so it's a slightly compromised design but we wanted to be closer to help in the next few years....

 

weve put the first Cil paperwork in just need to do the  second before we start, but yes very wary of this.
