A further one is that if you ordered online, you have 30 days to return the goods as of legal right.

 

No idea how that works out with a bust company, though, and for goods that are not here yet.

Windows are almost certain custom goods, and so are excluded from this right.

How it works is that you lose the money and the goods (or it did when I returned something to a company that went into administration a week later). Luckily my credit card company made a goodwill gesture and refunded me which they didn’t need to do given that it was only £90 so not eligible for Section 75.

Unfortunately Lauren didn’t buy goods, it was a service that was purchased.
