Declan52
When you say motar do you actually mean plaster as in the a sand cement mix for the outside of your house??? Always used this stuff https://www.uk.weber/triple-strength-medusa Or this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bostik-30812493-Cementone-Integral-Proofer/dp/B00LXM7K52
Onoff
I've been using this for ages and the exposed concrete I've done with it is really standing up well. Shed base, sliding gate post bases and track base. Also used on the bathroom floor. What I like about it is it has de-aerating properties so less tamping needed to get the air out. You just don't seem to get a lot of air bubbles as you tamp. (I didn't use it where I cast the shower base to falls, instead I went for a strong, "resinous", SRB heavy, exotic mix based on 10mm pea shingle after much research). https://www.toolstation.com/integral-liquid-waterproofer/p80460 Also use it in mortar and render as required. I think Sika make it for them.
Gone West
I used Sika Proof and not had any problems. I've got these three on Freecycle at the moment.

I sincerely hope there won't be any future DIY for quite some time. The build has cured me of any desire to do DIY .
