  1. Found manual online . Vent axia kinetic advance sx . Doesn’t even show this internal panel and arm
  2. I can get the bottom clips in that’s okay . But as that arm goes in the slot- it gets stopped before I can get the panel closed - like it’s hitting something
  3. Ok I’m confused . Powering it on causes a whirling noise presumably for this arm . But I can’t get the arm in and close the flap
  4. Opened it up and this bit fell out ! This the summer bypass thingy ? Struggling to get it back in
  5. I built the (expletive deleted)ing house so need a break 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  6. My plan was simply replace the entire fan so less (expletive deleted)ing about
  7. I’m guessing this even though it doesn’t sound like it . Hoping the fan comes out easy ( bet it doesn’t)
  8. They are apparently enclosed I.e not serviceable . It doesn’t actually sound like the bearings failing tbh - but clearly a fan issue
  9. Apparently bearings are sealed so no wd40 . Will take it apart tomorrow
  10. Hard to explain . Like a vibration / whoosh and then settles so not constant . Assume fans dying . If I open this up ok to just wd40 the bearings ??
  11. Why do I want moisture resistant plasterboard ?
  12. Tanked
  13. Nope ! 3 times I’ve seen raw sewage pouring over various gardens due to wet wipes .
  14. Chat has now changed its mind 🙄 . Won’t bother with ct1 . Simply tanking slurry over the lot . There are no gaps it’s just porous material.
  15. Slurry ordered and more ct1 👍
  16. Oops in wrong group ! 🙄🙄🙄😂
  17. https://m.uk.investing.com/news/stock-market-news/tesla-recalls-10500-powerwall-2-battery-systems-due-to-fire-risk-93CH-4369300?ampMode=1
  18. Chat suggests . Clean it all up . Ct1 the joints I.e block work on the concrete - water gets through the mortar at this point . Then ka slurry the lot .
  19. Chat suggests sika 1 waterproofing Or this
  20. Hairline cracks in the concrete also I want to fill . Did assume some concrete / brick sealer waterproofing was the thing to try . So a small number of drops did get the floor . Didn’t put a bucket to collect . But it is a small amount . Just checked it now - whilst not dry it’s clearly drying out . Considering how much rain we had and how quick it’s drying does kind of confirm it certainly isn’t a lot of water .
  21. Avonmouth is a shit hole
  22. Entire day of rain - storm so lots of rain . 15:30 - finally get a drop through . You can see it’s been building up to that . I’m going to leave this as is until spring . But if I were to seal the concrete I.e to prevent water coming through what would I use? . I guess I should be happy as gone from half a bucket to just this .
  23. Yeah that’s what I think . But , everything looks like leak 🙄 Might just foam the (expletive deleted) around there - effectively insulating…
  24. Only thing I notice is ‘ condensation ‘ on the inner part of the glazing frames .
  25. Lots of rain over the last few weeks . Most at night so I don’t “ count it “ . Wee’d down today . Went out to look at my low profile drain . Certainly doing its job ! - small river coming out the other end - draining away from the property . Still can ‘feel’ some moisture inside ( I think ! ) but zero water drops . Paranoia causes me to check the room with the leak a few times everyday…. 🤪
