  1. I think ‘making the frame’ pre install would be a nightmare . Cant you just smear the trim with tile adhesive ? . I’ve done this before with no issue . As it is ; I’m confused ! - what’s holding the trim ???
  2. Spoke too soon ? This maybe ? https://www.mkmplastics.com/shop/plastic-flat-strips/plastic-flat-strip-rigid Though not sure I really need 75m !
  3. Clean rubber trim to size ct1 it to stone work Some kind of trim at base ( between flashing and pavers ) . Can’t seem to find anything suitable online ...
  4. Just an update Finally got to the point where the block paving meets the wall and requires flashing First piece almost done ( yeah I know the rubber goes under it ? ) I’m about 10mm above my paving so assume I should fill that gap . What with ? Just a strip of black fascia? Or similar ...
  5. No I don’t nick from there - I leave stuff to up the quality . Anyway off to M&S then Waitrose to get wine and steak !
  6. Ok , ok my conscience is killing me .... Will go to B&q from now on ?

  10. Grand design on just a bathroom ; there’s a thought . Budget 2k ; actual spend 400k @Onoff “ we went a bit over budget but we are happy with the final result “ kevin ‘twat’ mccloud “ would you do another ? “ Everyone on ebuild “ (expletive deleted) no !!!! “ ??????? Its time as you can tell
  11. I won’t defecate in it . Just look and touch the tiles . Perhaps take a selfie so I can prove to the grand children I was there .
  12. Can we visit this bathroom when it’s complete ? I feel it’s become part of my life now and it’s on my bucket list .
  13. Ok ! electrician has confirmed he can fit an extra mains socket near the single cat 5 . So now I can have a mains powered Poe switch to power Cctv and AP. They are on final decor ; so wasn’t sure if it was doable without too much hassle and cost !!
  14. So a switch powered by Poe can’t power 2 Poe devices ? i only have 1 cat5 at each point and as you say require an AP per floor but also need Cctv per floor
  15. Presumably the kids never ‘venture’ outside .....
  16. Of course !
  17. Problem is ‘ upstart crap ‘ is on first - a poor mans black adder ...

  20. I’m automating my house not the tenants ?
  21. ? Sounds perfect for me . Will get it I love ‘controlling’ my properties remotely - saves SO much time - except when virgin screw up ( as of now believe it or not ) - so no access ? Holiday photos for 2 weeks of the year are why I work the other 50 weeks . Just wait until next year !!!
  22. What would I get too see with remote access ?
  23. You beat me too it ! just googled and found poe powered switch with Poe pass thru Perfect thanks ! . Have to ‘box it’ in so prying fingers don’t touch !
  24. Just a thought I did not have cat 5 installed for this ; but did have it installed for Cctv . Can I from a bridge use the cat 5 to go to an AP and then chain to Cctv ? - or must it be a separate connection each ??? essentially run 2 devices ( Cctv and AP ) off 1 cat 5 ? . No socket nearby so *assume* remote switch could be powered by Poe - Cctv and AP plugged into that ; feasible ??
  25. So I connect an ap off the router ; turn off router WiFi . Daisy chain another AP of the existing one if I wish . That the type of arrangement? . Roaming then is automatic to which ever one would give you the best signal ?
