  1. Not a problem - so the tile cuts need to be more accurate . The instructions though seem to suggest the opposite.... I don’t want it that access becomes an issue afterwards
  2. Ooooooo . Won’t quite go high enough for a fridge freezer ... But ..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274393345019 Electric Jib Crane - 400Kg / 882lb Lifting Hoist, 240V Heavy Duty ~ Rhino AUTO BRAKE FAIL SAFE WINCH ~ 12 MONTH 100% UK WARRANTY
  3. If I got a swivel hoist clamped to a vertical Scaff pole ; then there can’t be a counter weight ? . So could I just have as originally planned 1 Scaff pole bolted to the wall right in the corner and use the ‘swivel’ to move a platform around i.e load it not over the hole - then simply swivel round over the drop and lower ??
  4. Assume this is enough space around the fixings for access ? . Still don’t like a big hole there ! I know I Mastik around the cover plate but still concerns me ..
  5. Patched back in the delta board . Presume I should fill around the fitting with something ? - tile adhesive ?? Foam gun ?
  6. For fecks sake you are right !
  7. Oh dear ! Got the riser out the box just too see how it would look .... it’s bent !!
  8. You mean like this ? ?
  9. I can’t swear because we will all see the annoying <expletive deleted>
  10. Found it !! then lost it again !! Aargh ! Need to buy a bag of them - bet there isn’t a ‘standard’ size !!
  11. Oh ffs ! Lost the grub screw !!
  12. B o l l o c k s
  13. Only issue is to get the feed from the mixer to the shower head will require hep20 joints . I was trying to avoid using them to reduce the chance of leaks - though to date no hep2o fitting has ever leaked . So I guess shouldn’t worry about using them ( they will be inaccessible)
  14. Floor to head approx 213cm
  15. Shower head fixing has a ball joint so can tilt - this look ok ?
  16. Nasty Cludge to get shower head fitting on other wall . Wall single stud and fitting needs to be recessed . Access from rear not possible .
  17. My rainfall can’t be central on its wall - but I don’t think that will matter . My controls on the other wall are ‘offset’ to the right. If I move the hose outlet I could put my riser central .
  18. I’m considering this !! . The hand rail riser is in the centre of the wall on that side ?
  19. Fair enough . I guess my perception is it’s all on the same wall ...
  20. Yeah I considered that . But won’t it look wrong ??
  21. Ah ! I most of dozed off before I reached that bit .
  22. Roper Rhodes - so shouldn’t be cheap kak . Yep stem thingy fitting in the bsp to hep fitting . Think from memory ( I’m remembering well today ! ) it was you that pointed me towards these things some time ago . They are neat . But I can’t see how you dismantle a stem from a hep fitting as the dismantle key won’t fit in !
  23. Googled it and suggestion was 183 to 203cm Might push it up that extra 70mm ..
  24. Well I clicked ‘next’ 28 times on your life story thread . Erm , not sure what I’m meant to be looking at . Brought back a nostalgic tear to my eye , the good old days before CV and brexit . When life was simpler and grout lines were uneven .
