Last of the RSJ’s going in then oak sleepers Wednesday

Just got to decide what level the lights are going to be recessed in to the sleepers at

Sleepers now complete

I volunteered to drill the 25mm holes for the lighting to save time, not the best of jobs and bad back in the morning!

Also run all the wires between the DPM and the sleepers and added ducting to take the loom round the stepsIMG_8502.thumb.jpeg.924532229fba3b785e67af3b9fdc5f8a.jpeg

Blimey what is the cost of that patio and sleeper retaining wall?  Also, was it designed and built by others, or were you in charge?  That is a lot of work and very well executed.

My friend is doing it as owns a ground work company

He is mega fussy the same as me which is great!

I sketched out what I wanted then we have just tweaked it along the way (he has sorted all materials apart from lighting)

There is still a flower bed to form with oak around the stairs and main retaining wall then carry the sleepers down the far side of the house

There is probably about 85m2 of limestone to lay (slabs are £38m2)

Looking to bring it in around the 20-22k mark not including muck away (had 2 lorry’s so far!)
