Triassic Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Imtrying to establish what size this ASHP is and is it a model worth having? Viessmann Air Source Heat Pump complete with Indoor Unit & 200L Viessmann Buffer Tank. Buffer Tank Model - VC100-ESWV 200L. Air Source Model - Vitocal 200 - S/222/S/242/S
ProDave Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 You seem to be missing a bit of the model number. It should end in ,A04 (3Kw) .A07 (5.6KW) .A10 (7.7Kw) or ,B10 (7.5Kw) https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=https://www.energieheld.de/heizung/hersteller/viessmann/vitocal-222-s242-s&prev=search
Triassic Posted October 5, 2018 Author Posted October 5, 2018 Just contacted the seller who says - The heat pump is 4.5kw power consumption, heating output is 7.7kw. Is it a split or a mono?

From what others have deduced the ASHP in question is a split unit and being second hand may not be worth buying as it requires a specialist install. ps. So you can’t sleep either! dpmiller Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 would the power input include backup immersion elements perhaps?
