Bird Spikes

Pigeons have decided our new roof ridge is the perfect perch.

Problem is we now have white streaks of bird doodoo all over the slates.

All the bird spikes I can find will be really noticeable.

Has anyone used them or have any suggestions?

You can get bird wires - they are a tensioned stainless or copper wire strung with either 2 or 3 parallel wires that are about an inch or two above the ridge. It means larger birds can’t roost on the ridge

has worked perfectly. Not beautiful, but not that noticeable and cured the guano problem!

We’re we live We have a outdoor semi covered market It got so bad they introduced model falcons up in the rafters

But worked It only moved the pigeons across the road onto the buildings

But the stall holders were happy
